WHAT THIS IS

Not a hotel. Not an Airbnb.
A private floor of downtown St. Louis.

Twelve people book six hotel rooms and spend the weekend texting each other from different hallways. Here, everyone wakes up under the same roof. Coffee in the great room as the sun climbs the arched glass. Dinner cooked together. The rooftop to yourselves at midnight, the Ferris wheel still turning across the park.

NINE NAMED SPACES

Nine floors, twenty-one units,
and a pool on the roof

Grace Lofts is a restored warehouse on Washington Avenue with original brick and cathedral windows that no new build in this city can copy. A private elevator opens into the penthouse. No lobby, no front desk, no key cards.

THE ROOFTOP

Most downtown rooftops are shared with two hundred strangers. This one has a gate and your name on it. The pool house opens wide in summer and closes up when the weather turns.

A pool house, a grill, and a fire
that belong to your group alone

THE VIEW

Arched windows on
the whole skyline

Lucas Park and the Central Library sit across the street, the City Museum and its rooftop Ferris wheel a block away. Enterprise Center, Ballpark Village, and the Arch are all inside a short walk. Every window looks at something worth looking at.

STEP OUTSIDE

Everything, on foot

The penthouse sits inside the Washington Avenue Historic District, a National Historic Landmark stretch of restored warehouses. A park is across the street and most of downtown is a walk, not a drive.

Lucas Park

1 min

Green space directly across Washington Avenue. Farmers market in season.

Central Library

3 min

Cass Gilbert’s 1912 landmark. Worth walking into even if you don’t read a page.

City Museum

6 min

The rooftop Ferris wheel and slides you can see from the bar window.

America’s Center

11 min

Convention centre and the Dome. Handy if your group is in town for a show.

Enterprise Center

15 min

Blues hockey and arena concerts.

St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station

16 min

Aquarium, wheel, ropes course and the restored train shed.

Busch Stadium & Ballpark Village

18 min

Cardinals baseball, and the bars that fill up after.

Gateway Arch National Park

21 min

Riverfront, tram to the top, and the museum underneath.

CITYPARK Stadium

St. Louis CITY SC. Loud, new, and worth the walk on a match day.

Walking times are estimates from the front door at an easy pace. Everything past fifteen minutes is a short ride if you’d rather not walk.

What’s on while you’re here

Concerts, games, festivals and openings, updated by the city rather than by us. Check your dates before you book, or after.

CITYWIDE

Explore St. Louis

The official visitor calendar. Live music, festivals, exhibitions and sport, filterable by date and category.

WALKING DISTANCE

Downtown STL

Only what is happening downtown, which is to say only what you can reach on foot from the front door.

LOCAL PICKS

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

The city paper’s listings. Better for smaller venues, comedy nights and the things tourists miss.

The Wine Vault

A glass-walled cellar off the dining room. Bring your own bottles or we'll stock it.

WHERE WE SEND OUR GUESTS

Eat & drink

A short list we actually stand behind, rather than everything within a mile. All of it is walkable, and most of it will hold a table for twelve if you call ahead.

INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY

TELL US THE NIGHT.
WE’LL HOLD THE TABLE.

Getting twelve people into a good room on a Saturday is the hardest part of a group weekend. It is also the easiest thing for us to solve, because we book here every week and the staff know us.

  • Dinner reservations for the whole group, anywhere on this list

  • A private chef in the penthouse instead, if you’d rather stay in

  • Game tickets, show tickets, and a car when the walk is too far

  • The kitchen stocked before you land, from your own list

Thanks for submitting!

No charge for arranging. You pay the restaurant or the vendor directly. We reply the same day.

FROM FIRST LIGHT TO LAST CALL

A DAY AT THE PENTHOUSE

7:00

MORNING

The light arrives first

Sun climbs the arched glass in the great room and lays itself across the brick. Someone is already making coffee. Nobody has to be anywhere.

19:00

EVENING

THE TABLE FILLS

Twelve chairs, one table. Something opened from the wine vault. The fireside lounge catches whoever lingers after dessert.

13:00

MIDDAY

NINE FLOORS UP

The rooftop opens. Pool, spa, and the skyline on three sides. Lunch comes up from Washington Avenue, or the chef's kitchen handles it.

23:00

LATE

NOBODY GOES HOME

Billiards in the game lounge, the spa still warm on the roof, the Ferris wheel lit across the park. Your rooms are down the hall, not across town.
